We were there 2 nights. It is very nice.
One of the workers asked me if I knew the Witness Couple was Marie Osmond and her husband. I asked her if she was sure it was her. She said 'I am positive. Lisa called to tell us Amy was in Las Vegas for a wedding. We didn't see her but talked to her on the phone. They were staying at the Red Rock Hotel. We were already on our way to San Diego when she called us back.
On Friday, March 28th we left for San Diego. There was so much traffic. Check inn time at the Capri By the Sea was 4 PM.
We got there early and they let us check in.
This is the view out of our window. Brady, Nichole, Alivia, Kai, Claire and Kellen came on Saturday. Nichole's sister Jordan came and stayed with us Saturday night and Sunday. I will add quite a few pictures of their family and some of the things we did.
We went to church on Sunday. Mitt Romney and his wife are members of this ward. Garry talked to him.
After church on Sunday we went to see the San Diego
Temple and then went to LaJolla to see the seals.

wore during the Mormon Battalion..
On April 3, 2014 we went to Legoland. It was a fun day.

JaNelle & Bryan Cook came on the 9th and spent a few hours with us. It was great to see them--they told us a lot of interesting things about their experiences with Bryan's job. He needs to
write a book.
We went to see the Wylund Gallery in Laguna Beach and went through it. It was very beautiful. He lives above the museum and paints or does sculptures every day. We bought our Manta Rey sculpture at his gallery in Hawaii. The gallery is on the efge of the ocean and is very beautiful.
April 11, 2014... We packed up and left the Condo at 9:10 AM. The sky was blue and the traffic was very heavy. We were on our way to Las Vegas to stay 3 nights. We were back at the Diamond Paradise Resort in room 126 in Building 7.
We told them we would go to their meeting at 10:30 AM. We got breakfast and $75.00 to go. We were with Mark for about 4 hours. He and his wife took us to inner at the Ellis Island Restaurant. They were very nice-- his wife is from Turkey.
That night we went to the Penn and Teller show at the Rio. I wasn't too impressed but Garry liked it a lot.

We went to church on Sunday and then went over to see Harold. He looked good. The house looked great. Kelly and Dave Abbott had been there previously and did a lot of remodeling to the home.
We saw Keri...she is now 51 years old and still pretty sweet.

We left Las Vegas on April 14th. We stopped to see Andrew in Beaver and he looked great. He told us about some miracles that happened to him. He has a positive attitude and has made some commitments. He will be home in July.
We got to Alan and Kim's about 6:00 pm. We picked up Alan and went over to someone in their Ward's home and had a Passover Dinner. It was very interesting and we had a good time. Kim helped with the dinner and it was delicious.
We checked into the Spring Hill Suites in SLC around 10:30 pm. We stayed there Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights.
On the 15th we had a picnic with the family at Hatch Park. There were 24 of us there. Kim had some pulled pork that we made sandwiches out of. We had salads, drinks and dessert so it was a lot of fun. By the time we had eaten it was pretty cold, so we went to Alan and Kim's house and played games. It was fun to be with everyone.
We left for home April 16th. It was a great trip!!!

April 4th was the last day for San Diego. It was Kai's '7th' birthday so we had a birthday
breakfast at the Original Pancake house.

Paula Magstadt stayed over night with us April 8th
but we didn't get a picture of her. She looked beautiful and it was
